In the toolbar AutoSTAGE 2D Video, you will find all the symbols and functions for the input, change and analysis of planning data for the  Video category, grouped together.

Align a projector to a screen

A Video projector can be inserted into the drawing at a right angle to a screen, regardless of the position of the screen. During insertion, the projection distance, the projection factor of the optic, and the rotation angle of the projector is calculated and the projector symbol in the drawing assigned.

Align several projectors to a screen with soft edge

Several Video projectors can be inserted into the drawing at a right angle to a screen, regardless of the position of the screen. The overlap area between the single pictures can be displayed. During insertion, the projection distance, the projection factor of the optic, and the rotation angle of the projector is calculated and the projector symbol in the drawing assigned.

Blend in/out of Projection beam

The Projection beam of an aligned Projector can be blended in/out.

Insert Projectors in different elevations

Every Projector can be inserted into a drawing in top or side elevation. There is a differentiation between the OFF-AXIS and ON-AXIS Projection.

Insert Displays in different elevations

Many displays can be inserted with different elevations. The elevations include top, side, front or back.

Insert LED-Modules in different elevations

Many LED-Modules can be inserted with different elevations. These include top, site, front or back elevation.

Insert screens in different elevations

Every screen size can be inserted with different elevations. These include top, site, front or back elevation.

Blend in /out of Video type

All visible video types can be blended in/out as required by the user via an icon in the Video toolbox.

Change Font display size of Video type

The font size of a Video type can be increase/decreased with a mouse click.

Display of a projection line

You can display the middle axis of the projection beam in lengths of 10m, 20m, 30m and 40m.

Convert any symbols into Video Symbol

Any symbol can be converted into a AutoSTAGE video icon. After conversion of the symbol, all AutoSTAGE functions are available for the icon, like the count and list function. Converted symbols can be saved and later re-inserted into the design, if necessary.

Access of all projector data with a mouse click

A double click on a projector, opens the AutoSTAGE-Editor enabling you to access all data of the projector.

Automatically find the Rotation Angle of a projector

Whilst inserting a projector from the Video toolbox, the rotation angle of the projector is automatically saved. The rotation angle can easily be changed via the AutoSTAGE-Editor with a double click.

Assign signal cable length to projectors and displays

You can assign a signal and power cable length to each projector. Cable lengths displayed in Red are always Power cables. Green cables are Signal cables.

Change Font display size of cable length

The font size of the cable length can be increase/decreased with a mouse click.

Create material and number lists with a mouse click

All video projectors in a drawing can be quickly, easily and efficiently counted and sorted. With one mouse click you can create material and inventory lists as Microsoft Excel-sheets.

Automatically create a Video legend

The automatic legend function of AutoSTAGE with one click creates a legend of all video symbols in the drawing. The number, single weight and total weight of the icons are displayed besides the legend symbol and the legend label.

Mains power planning for Video

The mains power planning for video systems can be created with the insertion of power connections, power cables and power distribution boards. You can assign cable length and comments to the power icons and these can be analysed and displayed in an Excel worksheet.

Insert different cable types as symbols

It is possible to insert different cable types as symbols into the drawing. Every cable symbol can be assigned to a category tool section. The category will be assigned by the toolbox from which the cable is inserted. After assigning a cable length, the type and length of the inserted cable can be seen in the inventory list.

Insert several cable types as Flycase

Via a  Flycase you can insert several cables of a certain types into a drawing. Every Flycase is assigned to a certain category. The category will be chosen by the toolbox from which the Flycase is inserted. After assigning the cable length, number of pieces and type, the Flycase can be analysed in the inventory list.

Draw special lines for a Video plan

AutoSTAGE offers the option to draw special lines for the video plan. These are lines that illustrate cable types in the video system.
